Glad you asked. I'm equal parts cheerleader, mentor, confidant, sage advisor, experienced colleague and loyal friend. If it helps, you can think of me as your fairy godmother. My goal is to help you take your big ideas, your wildest dreams, your deepest professional hopes and take them from paper to practical reality.
Recently, I've worked on crafting copy and content for a successful Kickstarter campaign, developed a concept for an artist website (and scripted his successful fundraising campaign, too!) and helped encourage a young entrepreneur to launch a "blooming" business.
Here are just some of the things we can do together:
Start Up 101: $25/hour (min. 2 hours)
So you've got a great idea. Now what? Sometimes you need a little help transitioning into action. Start up sessions can include a one-on-one brainstorming session about your big idea and narrow down some defining goals and objectives to get you on your way, writing or editing a business plan, setting up a blog or website on Wordpress, Squarespace or Tumblr, and creating business cards and a brand identity.
Branding and Marketing: $25/hour (min. 2 hours)
You're already on your way, and want to take the next steps to get your business in front of a broader audience. Our time can together include clarifying your mission and vision, using easy SEO techniques to make your site more visible, developing and implementing networking strategies to grow your business. We can also maximize your presence on social media networks.
Writing and Editing: $25/hour (min. 2 hours)
Sometimes, we all need an extra set of eyes on a project or could use a wordsmith to craft paragraphs that capture a potential client's eye. I can edit a book proposal, write copy for your site, craft language for fundraising campaigns, write scripts for videos, help with blog posts and pitches, write a bio or do ongoing editorial work (ghostwriting.)
