My entire career has been spent either working at a start-up (I've tried my hand at screen printing t-shirts, running an educational center, and starting a theater company) or starting something new. I love to be at the beginning of something—watching an idea form and shape itself into something that is creative, passion-driven and successful.

My freelance experience ranges from a copy-editing stint at Martha Stewart's Blueprint (one of the most beautiful and creative magazines I've ever seen) to writing and editing for the NFT Guide to New York, HeliumReport.com, 14Trips.com, and more—I truly enjoy bringing destinations and experiences to life! I've also been a contributor (both editorial vision and articles) to the site I Kissed Dating Hello.

My full-time work includes managing editor experience at Trump (yes, Donald, and yes, he had a magazine!) and Hearst (under First30Days.com.) During my stint as a Managing Editor at First30Days, I got a great lesson in web startup, doing everything from helping to create a style guide to developing content channels and learning SEO. While there, our fantastic team developed great partnerships, and my work appeared—rarely bylined, more often under the F30D banner—on TheFrisky.com, MarieClaire.com and even in the pages of Redbook.

I am a proud citizen of Brooklyn. Amongst friends and colleagues I am known as counselor, entrepreneur, instigator, hostess, and advisor. I truly enjoy creative collaboration and nothing makes me happier than helping people bring their ideas to life. My current job at Trinity Grace Church allows me to do these things while still leaving plenty of time to write, and I am grateful.
